Some Buildings on the South Coast of Bantul are Threatened by High Waves

SomeĀ buildings on the southern coast of Bantul are in danger of being hit by high waves. Because, this week predicted the wave can be up to 5 meters.

Data Collection Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Bantul district somme buildings are located on several beaches.

Head of BPBD Bantul, Dwi Daryanto said the abrasion wave damaged three buildings on Kwaru beach, Bantul earlier this week.

“On the other beach is high but not like in Kwaru, but it is not possible next week it also impact to others, especially on the beach there is very crowded activity, especially Depok,” said Dwi in his office on Tuesday (06/06/2017 ).

As for the beach Kwaru there are about 15 other buildings that according to BPBD its potential prone to wave.

While on Samas beach is also similar, there are five to six buildings that are on the edge and very vulnerable if high waves crashing.

While in monitoring Depok there are about 10 buildings that are threatened.

Tribune Jogja Monitoring on Kwaru beach on Tuesday (06/06/2017) afternoon, the beach tends to be quiet.

The building is positioned on the shoreline and very prone to hit by some waves already emptied.

The position of the sea with the building so close, seen damage in some buildings due to waves and abrasion occurred.
