Brief description  :

This course contains the matters of problems and demands in drinking water supply system; water demand; design of drinking water supply system; water source, availability of water and water intake structure; design of drinking water network system; water treatment installation design, operation and maintenance basics of drinking water supply system.

Specific goals of the course
Spesific outcomes : By the end of this course, The students are expected to be able to design drinking water supply system (piping network and water treatment installation).
Student outcomes :

(c) An ability to design a system, component, or process in order to be able to face the real constraints in economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability

(e) An ability to identify, formulate, and solve civil engineering problems by considering local resources

  2. Hidraulika drinking water pipe network
  3. SPAM planning
  4. Water network design with Waternet
  5. Pipe network structure and network operations
  6. Aeration unit in drinking water treatment
  7. Increasing sedimentation unit capacity with tube settler
  8. Stirring equipment in flocculation coagulation unit
  9. Filtration and disifection unit
  10. Clear well and hydraulic profile of drinking water treatment plant
