Specific course information
Brief description  :

This course contains the overview of girder and composite structures in civil engineering structures, types of girder structures, design and analysis of girder structure, composite theory of main steel material, types of composite structure of main steel material, design and analysis of steel-concrete composite structure in compression structure, design and analysis of steel-concrete composite structure in flexural structure, moment resisting frame system concept for steel structure.

Specific goals of the course
Specific outcomes : The students are expected to be able to design and analyze girder beam, steel composite structure as both compression and flexure element.
Student outcomes : (a) An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering in civil engineering fields

(c) An ability to design a system, component, or process in order to be able to face the real constraints in economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability
