Brief description  :

Field practical study is a program aims to provide field/visual experience of design and construction of civil structures to the students as part of the department’s intention to introduce civil engineering field of work. The scope of work for field practical study are limited to the observation phase, this is expected to give more insight and initial introduction to the students to the actual works.

Laboratory work : Conducting practical works and composing the report of practical work
Spesific goals of the course
Spesific outcomes :

The students are able to do the practical study on how to identify, formulate, and suggest alternative solutions for civil engineering problems through series of case observation in the field as well as engage in a discussion with the stakeholders in design and civil works construction.

Student outcomes : (d) An ability to function on multidisciplinary team

(e) An ability to identify, formulate, and solve civil engineering problems by considering local resources
