Specific course information
Brief description  :

This course contains the matters of road infrastructure engineering design; basic theory in road infrastructure design; review of basic theory of field survey in road transportation; creation of work program and survey in transportation; implementation of field survey; public transportation facility; design of pedestrian facility; design of parking facility; design of traffic control facility; analysis of traffic impact to the environment; calculation of quantity and cost analysis.

Prerequisite Courses : Traffic Management (Semester VI)
Required/elective : Elective
Studio work : Intersection design (geometric, layout and road utilities) for several types of intersection for urban area (Signal & public transportation stopping facility & special bus lane) dan U – Turn Primary/Secondary Artery road
Laboratory work : N/A
Specific goals of the course
Specific outcomes : The students are expected to be able to design transportation infrastructure in compliance with technical, security, and environmental aspects.
Student outcomes : (c) An ability to design a system, component, or process in order to be able to face the real constraints in economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability

(e) An ability to identify, formulate, and solve civil engineering problems by considering local resources

(k) An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools for civil engineering practice
