Spesific course information
Brief description : This course contains introduction of main hardware of a computer, the introduction of OS; definition OS and how it works, step iterations of software creation: problems, algorithms, coding, compiling, running .; debugging, the use of FORTRAN / VISUAL BASIC: general rules, input-output, matrix structure, the completion of differential equations; programming with spreadsheets and applications in the field of civil engineering, the introduction of OOP, Programming with VISUAL BASIC, GUI, graphics programming, software development is simple.

Studio work : Creation of simple program with FORTRAN or VISUAL BASIC and Spreadsheet

Specific goals of the course
Specific outcomes : The students are expected to understand and take advantage of hardware and software as well as the manufacture of simple software in civil engineering and its supporting science
Student outcomes :
  1.  An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering in civil engineering fields
  2. An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools for civil engineering practice
