Brief description | : | This course contains:
|
Prerequisite Courses | : | Physics for Civil Engineering (Semester II) |
Required/elective | : | Required |
Studio work | : | N/A |
Laboratory work | : | Students to conduct test and demo of determinate static structure model based on stability concept (simple beam, cantilever, gerber, including influence line). Students create truss analysis and maximum forces occur using influence line. |
Specific goals of the course | ||
Specific outcomes | : | The students are expected to understand the basic concepts of the role of the analysis of the static structure specified in the design of building civil engineering, the idealization of the structure and the load on the field into a mathematical model, understand the concept of balance to calculate the support reactions and internal forces in a structure certain static. |
Student outcomes | : | An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering in civil engineering fields. |
