This course contains the main cause of road pavement structure damage; definition and classification of road pavement, comprehension in characteristic and performance of asphalt aggregate pavement (flexible pavement) and cement aggregate pavement (rigid pavement); comprehension in the pavement construction process at each stage of road construction: preservation, rehabilitation, reconstruction and new road construction; stages of implementation and quality control process of pavement; rock material supply process; aggregate grains formation process; implementation of Job Mix Formula (JMF) and introduction to field equipment for field trial; field equipment performance control; material technology and road pavement preservation equipment; productivity analysis, unit price, pavement construction cost components. |
